ISO 9001 Product Quality Goals

1. Engage the entire company to achieve the number one customer satisfaction rate in Japan.

2. Gain a clear understanding of the client’s requirements and present an appropriate plan and estimate.

3. Secure a product control regime in order to prevent mistakes.

ISO 9001 Product Quality Objective

“We will reach the number one satisfaction rate in Japan as a corporate history and commemorative publications company.”

We will strive to become the corporate history and commemorative publications company with the highest satisfaction rate in Japan in each of our business operations, including plan proposal, draft completion, editing, designing, proofreading, media management, delivery date management, aftercare, and finally, in the completed product itself.

The Japanese corporate history industry has strenuously continued to offer its publications since the Meiji Era. However, this industry is currently at a turning point due to the prolonged recession in Japan and competition amongst the international market, business interface, and corporations of various sizes. Corporate history books are no longer recognized in value by simply passing down records to the next generation, and companies are delaying their cycle of publishing corporate history profiles. As a result, the amount of time and funds used to publish corporate history books has decreased overall.

In times like these, our company marked 25 years since its incorporation in 2011. Thanks to the hard work of our employees we have increased client orders from small and medium-sized companies who were previously not as aggressive in publishing corporate history books, and have published over 700 corporate history works. We have since grown to hold the largest number of full-time employees of any corporate history publisher in Japan.

It was not our original intention to become a large-scale corporation, but in reality, our company has grown to have a significant influence on the corporate history industry and the standard of its production quality. We recognize that this holds us to the responsibility of maintaining a high standard. However, we also understand that the level of customer satisfaction that we have achieved is still lacking. There is plenty more we must learn both in our skills and ideals.

Corporate history works has long been published in the form of books, but recent trends show a massive growth in the digital media application, causing diversity in mediums, complex plan proposals, and the demand for highly skilled and organized editors and writers.
One aspect that cannot be overlooked in quality control is the motivation of employees and writers. Any discrepancies that arise due to the misunderstanding of client requirements results in reformulation of plans, lowering the motivation of employees who devote their energy into planning and editing the product. This can shrink the passion for corporate history publishing. Clarifying and sharing all requirements at the early stage of client meetings can avoid most of these complications.
Our company’s ISO 9001 will be applied by introducing our quality control method to our production process in the early stage to prevent discrepancies, and checking customer satisfaction at each stage of production.

We will not aim to become the “number one corporate history publisher in Japan” but to hold the “number one customer satisfaction rate” by offering our best efforts in planning and editing, and hereby announce our attainment of the ISO 9001 certification.
